From 5-8 Dec. 2013, I was a fellowship participant in the first-time program offering at Sa(n)jam Knjige u Istri (19th Annual Book Fair in Istria, held through 15 Dec.) which presented an opportunity to speak with publishers. However, they were more interested in signing contracts for translations of already published works based on the promise of money from the Ministry of Culture. So this didn't pan out for me.
